Joining hands and hearts to keep Holocaust memory alive, fighting hatred and genocide
In mid-June 2024, the Holocaust Center for Humanity in Seattle was vandalized. A photo of a Kindertransport Child Survivor of the Holocaust which was in the front window of the Center was desecrated.
The photo was of the previous Executive Vice President of the WFJHS&D Steve Adler, as a young boy in pre-World war 2 Berlin.
Steve served as our Executive Vice President of the World Federation from 2005 till 2015. Steve spent his life dedicated to Holocaust education and to speaking out against hatred. He passed away in 2019, may his memory be a blessing.
Actions like desecrating Holocaust museums or Holocaust Memorials do not serve any positive purpose and are purely antisemitic.
